  2. Jasmine Cannon - Urban Lives, Urban Fabric

  7. Sue Beyer a finalist in Clayton Utz
Sue Beyer's painting - A light came on in his room - is a finalist in the Clayton Utz Art Prize with the $10000 prize winner announced on October 9.

Sue is now represented by Gilligan Grant Gallery in Melbourne with her first solo exhibition in Feb/March next year.

  9. Dave Groom part of ABC Artist by Artist
A regional ABC Open Project called Artist By Artist has paired up diverse artists from the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast Regions to create a documentary on each other's work. Dave Groom created a piece on Gold Coast multimedia artist Kimberley Bianca, while Kimberley traveled up to Beechmont to film Dave at his studio.

  11. Joyce Blanche shortlisted for Fleurieu
Joyce Blanche’s artwork - Sentinels - has been shortlisted for the Fleurieu Vistas Prize as part of the Fleurieu Art Prize 2011, the world’s richest landscape painting prize. You can see all the artworks from 4 November – 5 December at D’Arenberg Winery (McLaren Vale, South Australia) with the winner announced at the Gala Awards Dinner on 12 November.   15. Meredith Gaston at Art2Muse Gallery
You can view Meredith Gaston’s whimsical paintings at her latest exhibition at Art2Muse Gallery (475A New South Head Road, Double Bay, Sydney) which runs 25 October - 7 November.

Her work has been featured in magazines such as Harpers Bazaar, Luna and Vogue Living. Meredith is currently writing her third book and enjoying her new studio in the Blue Mountains.
