A rather frenetic mixed media drawing that documents the search for the artist’s family dog who disappeared upon arrival at the artist’s in-law’s home in Sydney. The view is a sweeping aerial perspective that zooms in on the anguished family members start wandering the busy streets of the inner city suburb. Large red-lettered speech bubbles stretch out from each open mouth calling out the dog’s name, Bobi! Included in the composition is a large 747 Jumbo Jet taking off from the nearby Kingsford Smith Airport and in the distance is nearby Botany Bay with oil tankers and other shipping coming and going. For those who may be concerned, Bobi did reappear six hours later but wouldn’t say where she had been or who she was seeing. Bobi, a small black beagle / spaniel cross, does appear in the drawing but you will need to look for her.
