Current series: '(e)utopia- the nature of human nature
(e)utopia reflects the fact that utopia is made up from Greek outopia: no place and eutopia: good place or place of well being.
Meaning that either nowhere on earth is any good ; or that the place where things are good does not exist. So that utopia embodies human aspirations for individual and social perfection as well as human failures along the way. Utopian dreaming reflects the paradox between our capacity for abstract thinking and our more primitive emotions. This series deals with the complexity of our attempts to resolve this paradox.
Some early works from this series were exhibited in the China International Galleries Exposition, at Beijing in 2009
