Solo exhibition 2009 'Emotional atoms'.

Our behaviour - often complex or conflicted- develops from combinations of emotions, thoughts and energy, similar to the way that matter is made up from combinations of atoms and energetic forces. Emotions are represented symbolically and combined in each painting to produce a complex feeling or behavioural narrative. Collectively they reference society, with its multilayered and intersecting patterns of interactions- like matter created from shifting molecules.

Some works from this series were exhibited in the Korean International Art Fair in 2008.
