I am an Australian artist working in Sydney, New South Wales. My preferred medium is oil painting, and my art practice is conceptually based, although the work is realistic in form. My art expresses moments of understanding about life and issues of existence in the world. In these moments real and unreal combine so that the reality expressed by my paintings is metaphorical rather than literal. Themes generally relate to psychological, social and philosophical concerns.
