I am an Australian artist working in Sydney, New South Wales. My preferred medium is oil painting, and my art practice is conceptually based, although the work is realistic in form. My art generally expresses reflections on relationships between individuals and the world, and on the meaning and purpose of life. Often moments of understanding are depicted, where real and unreal combine to form a new reality- one that is metaphorical or symbolic rather than literal. Themes generally relate to psychological, social and philosophical concerns.
