Drawing on my own personal experience as a nurse brings a strong element of recording history to my art practice.A love of people and a deep interest in the human experience is key. Recently I have used the historical nurses coif, surgical instuments and hand studies to explore empathy and being present as attributes of caring.I beleive caring is still the core heart of nursing today.
