PET AND EQUINE PORTRAIT SPECIALIST

I was fortunate enough to be born into a creative family...an to inherit the tendency to turn nothing into something! My mother is a successful artist and some of my fondest childhood memories include being allowed into her studio to paint alongside her! Being brought up in the beautiful countryside in the Kilcoy area in QLD's Sunshine Coast hinterland, I devoloped a lifelong love nature and animals, especially horses, which still fascinate me to this day. Largely self-taught, I enjoy the challenge of capturing the true essence of my subject. My love of horses, rural Australia and its fascinating characters stem from years of farm living and jillarooing in rural NSW, where I now live. A decade of equestrian competition gives me insight and an intimate knowledge of the connection that one can have with their animals, and I really enjoy finding a more spiritual aspect to my portrayal of my subjects, whether they be animal, human or floral.
