Cate Collopy is a well known Australian Artist residing in Queensland, she moves with skill, confidence and passion between genre forms in response to both her own journey and broader social/conceptual frameworks.

Introducing "loop_etc" a range of jewellery based around alternative materials and resources. Using a traditional beadmaking technique Cate transforms 'the bane' junkmail into bright designed beads which are then combined with used beads and objects to create beautiful one-off neck pieces.

Cate is self-represented and has works sold into private collections in Australia, Canada, Japan, United Kingdom and United States.
