David Hinchliffe is an Australian artist living in Brisbane. He was elected as a Councillor in Brisbane City Council in 1988 and has served in various capacities including Deputy Mayor for the last 23 years. He has had more than 30 solo exhibitions in a career of more than 35 years. His work is in private collections on every continent. His work is available locally through NeoGallery in Brisbane and Astras Galleries, Marina Mirage, Gold Coast and at Michael Ingbar gallery, Soho, New York City. David's next exhibition is at the Australian Consulate in New York on April 6 2011, followed by a solo exhibition at Michael Ingbar Gallery, Broadway and Prince St, opening April 8 2011.
