Ink Drawings 2017

These tonal ink drawings have all been done on location at various sites around Brisbane and a little further afield. I have driven as far as Rathdowney, Kilcoy, Springbrook and Rosewood.  I tried to choose unusual angles that one could discover while walking. I really wanted to achieve the illusion of a third dimension. Even though they are black and white, I have tried to employ every gradation of gray in between so that the colours of Brisbane can still be felt even though the colour has been removed.

They are now available unframed and would frame up beautifully.
