river paintings

These paintings have been produced in collaboration with the Riverfestival and are inspired by the Brisbane River.
They explore my fascination with perception and the way things can and may be seen.
It's interesting to observe how historically, geometry and repetition have been used to suggest or provide a vehicle to different planes or states of consciousness.
