‘WATERCOLOUR PROJECT 2 – STILL-LIFE STUDY. UNDERSTANDING LIGHT & SHADOWS’ A knowledge of the colour and temperature of light and shadows is essential for anyone wishing to improve their art skills. Completing a simple still-life painting will consolidate this new information. The workshop is suitable for all skill levels.

- Workshop 7 Saturday, 14th of October
‘WATERCOLOUR PROJECT 3 – CREATING MOOD WITH NEUTRAL TINT’ Learn how to establish subdued light effects with Neutral Tint, a grey paint pigment that changes the chroma of other colours without a temperature bias. - Workshop 8 Saturday, 11th of November
‘TEXTURES IN COLOURED PENCILS 2 – MAN-MADE MATERIALS’ Shiny and matte, rough and smooth, rigid and flowing; these are just some of the textures you’ll encounter when rendering fabric, furniture, glass and metal etc. Gain the skills and confidence needed to tackle these more complicated subjects.
